Refunds And Returns

1. Repairs

1.1 Completed Repairs

Once a repair has been completed and the device is functioning correctly, repair services are non-refundable.

This is because the service (labour and parts installation) has already been provided.

1.2 Faults After Repair

If a fault occurs relating to the part we replaced:

  • Please contact us as soon as possible.

  • If covered under our repair warranty, we will inspect and repair the issue free of charge.

  • The warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage or new unrelated faults.

1.3 Unsuccessful Repairs

If we are unable to repair your device, you will not be charged for the repair itself.
A diagnostic fee may apply where agreed in advance.


2. Refurbished Phones, Laptops & Devices

2.1 Change of Mind

Under UK consumer law, if you purchase online or remotely, you may have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the item.

To qualify:

  • The item must be returned in the same condition as sold.

  • The device must not be damaged or altered.

  • All accessories must be included.

Refunds will be processed once the item has been inspected.

2.2 In-Store Purchases

Change-of-mind returns for in-store purchases are not guaranteed and are offered at management discretion.

2.3 Faulty Devices

If a device develops a fault within the warranty period:

  • Return the device for inspection.

  • If confirmed faulty, we will repair, replace or refund in line with UK consumer law.

  • The warranty does not cover:

    • Accidental damage

    • Liquid damage

    • Software issues caused after purchase

    • Physical damage


3. Accessories

Accessories may be returned within 14 days if:

  • Unused

  • In original packaging

  • In resellable condition

Used accessories are non-refundable unless faulty.


4. Mobile Phone Contracts

Mobile contracts are subject to the terms and cooling-off periods of the individual network provider.

  • Cancellation requests must be made directly with the network provider.

  • RGTechRepair is not responsible for network billing or early termination charges.


5. Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be issued using the original payment method where possible.

  • Please allow 3–5 working days for processing once approved.

  • We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the item is returned damaged or not in its original condition.
